Fates Collide is a set in the XY series. It was released on May 2, 2016. The printed size is 124. This checklist is longer, at 129 cards. Tyranitar is 56/124, in position 58 of 129 on this checklist. Before it is 55 Umbreon-EX, and after it is 57 Vullaby. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Tyranitar is a Stage 2 Darkness Pokémon with 160 HP. In the Pokédex this is Tyranitar (#248), generation 2 (Johto). The card says it evolves from Pupitar. In this catalog that name is Pupitar (#247).

Satoshi Shirai illustrated this card. The same name is on 50 other cards in the catalog.

Tyranitar (#248) has 47 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 29 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2001 to 2026. The earliest other card is Tyranitar 12/75 in Neo Discovery (2001). That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 160 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Hironobu Yoshida illustrated that card, and Satoshi Shirai illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 4. 44 other cards of Tyranitar list a different HP.

Raging Roar is listed as Ability. When you play this Pokémon from your hand to evolve 1 of your Pokémon, you may attach 1 Darkness Energy from your discard pile to this Pokémon for each Prize card your opponent has taken. The attack Dark Mountain lists 150+ damage. The cost is Darkness, Darkness, Darkness, Darkness, Darkness. Discard the top 2 cards of your deck. This attack does 50 more damage for each Supporter card discarded in this way. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Psychic -20. Retreat cost is 4. The flavor text reads "If it rampages, it knocks down mountains and buries rivers. Maps must be redrawn afterward."

I keep a set binder for Fates Collide, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Fates Collide set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Tyranitar can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
