Exploud 82/124 · Fates Collide

Exploud is Pokédex #295, generation 3 (Hoenn). Exploud is a Stage 2 Colorless Pokémon with 140 HP. The card says it evolves from Loudred. In this catalog that name is Loudred (#294).

Exploud sits at 82/124 in Fates Collide, position 84 of 129. Before it is 81 Loudred, and after it is 83 Altaria-EX. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on May 2, 2016. The printed size is 124. This checklist is longer, at 129 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Ambush lists 80+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 40 more damage. Cacophony is another attack lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. At the end of your opponent's next turn, discard the Defending Pokémon and all cards attached to it. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "Its roar in battle shakes the ground like a tremor–or like an earthquake has struck."

Exploud (#295) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 10 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2004 to 2023. The earliest other card is Exploud 6/101 in Hidden Legends (2004). That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 140 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Tomokazu Komiya illustrated that card, and Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 3. 8 other cards of Exploud list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Masakazu Fukuda. I count 471 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Fates Collide set binder is where a full Fates Collide set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Exploud can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
