Exploud 85/119 · Phantom Forces

Exploud is Pokédex #295, generation 3 (Hoenn). Exploud is a Stage 2 Colorless Pokémon with 140 HP. The card says it evolves from Loudred. In this catalog that name is Loudred (#294).

Exploud sits at 85/119 in Phantom Forces, position 87 of 124. Before it is 84 Loudred, and after it is 86 Regigigas. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on November 5, 2014. The printed size is 119. This checklist is longer, at 124 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Boomburst lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. This attack does 20 damage to each of your opponent's Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Hyper Voice is another attack lists 90 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "Its howls can be heard over six miles away. It emits all sorts of noises from the ports on its body."

Exploud (#295) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 10 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2004 to 2023. The earliest other card is Exploud 6/101 in Hidden Legends (2004). That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 140 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Tomokazu Komiya illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 3. 8 other cards of Exploud list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Phantom Forces set binder is where a full Phantom Forces set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Exploud can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
