Klefki 80/114 · Steam Siege

Steam Siege is a set in the XY series. It was released on August 3, 2016. The printed size is 114. This checklist is longer, at 116 cards. Klefki is 80/114, in position 80 of 116 on this checklist. Before it is 79 M Gardevoir-EX, and after it is 81 Xerneas. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Klefki is a Basic Fairy Pokémon with 70 HP. In the Pokédex this is Klefki (#707), generation 6 (Kalos).

Saya Tsuruta illustrated this card. The same name is on 123 other cards in the catalog.

Klefki (#707) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 10 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2014 to 2026. The earliest other card is Klefki 73/111 in Furious Fists (2014). That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Saya Tsuruta illustrated this one. 3 other cards of Klefki list a different HP.

Wonder Lock is listed as Ability. Once during your turn (before your attack), if this Pokémon is on your Bench, you may discard all cards attached to this Pokémon and attach it to 1 of your Pokémon as a Pokémon Tool card. Prevent any damage done to the Pokémon this card is attached to by attacks from your opponent's Mega Evolution Pokémon. If this card is attached to a Pokémon, discard this card at the end of your opponent's turn. The attack Fairy Wind lists 30 damage. The cost is Fairy, Colorless. Weakness is Metal ×2. Resistance is Darkness -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It never lets go of a key that it likes, so people give it the keys to vaults and safes as a way to prevent crime."

I keep a set binder for Steam Siege, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Steam Siege set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Klefki can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). I still need this card.
