Keiji Kinebuchi illustrated this card. The same name is on 212 other cards in the catalog.

Magneton (#082) has 44 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 33 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Magneton 9/102 in Base (1999). That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. 27 other cards of Magneton list a different HP.

The attack Thunder Wave lists 30 damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Self-Destruct is another attack lists 80 damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless, Colorless. This Pokémon does 80 damage to itself. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Metal -20. Retreat cost is 1. I keep a set binder for Evolutions, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Evolutions set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Magneton can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
