Gourgeist 45/119 · Phantom Forces

Gourgeist is Pokédex #711, generation 6 (Kalos). Gourgeist is a Stage 1 Psychic Pokémon with 100 HP. The card says it evolves from Pumpkaboo. In this catalog that name is Pumpkaboo (#710).

Gourgeist sits at 45/119 in Phantom Forces, position 46 of 124. Before it is 44 Pumpkaboo, and after it is 46 Gligar. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on November 5, 2014. The printed size is 119. This checklist is longer, at 124 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Gourgantic is listed as Ability. If this Pokémon has any Grass Energy attached to it, its maximum HP is 200. The attack Horror Note lists 10× damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. This attack does 10 damage times the number of cards in your hand. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "Singing in eerie voices, they wander town streets on the night of the new moon. Anyone who hears their song is cursed."

Gourgeist (#711) has 6 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 5 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2014 to 2026. The earliest other card is Gourgeist 57/146 in XY (2014). Both list 100 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Kanako Eo illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 3. 5 other cards of Gourgeist list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kanako Eo. I count 99 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Phantom Forces set binder is where a full Phantom Forces set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Gourgeist can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). I still need this card.
