Keldeo XY191/211 · XY Black Star Promos

XY Black Star Promos is a set in the XY series. It was released on October 12, 2013. The printed size is 211. This checklist is longer, at 216 cards. Keldeo is XY191/211, in position 194 of 216 on this checklist. Before it is XY190 Manaphy, and after it is XY192 Mew. The listed rarity is Promo.

Keldeo is a Basic Water Pokémon with 90 HP. In the Pokédex this is Keldeo (#647), generation 5 (Unova).

Hajime Kusajima illustrated this card. The same name is on 206 other cards in the catalog.

Keldeo (#647) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Keldeo BW60/101 in BW Black Star Promos (2011). Both list 90 HP. Both list the rarity Promo. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Hajime Kusajima illustrated this one. 18 other cards of Keldeo list a different HP.

Justified is listed as Ability. This Pokémon's attacks do 50 more damage to your opponent's Darkness Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance). The attack Sacred Sword lists 100 damage. The cost is Water, Water, Water. This Pokémon can't use Sacred Sword during your next turn. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "When it is resolute, it body fills with power and it becomes swifter. Its jumps are then too fast to follow."

I keep a set binder for XY Black Star Promos, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the XY Black Star Promos set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Keldeo can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). Themed lists that include this exact card are Swords of Justice. I still need this card.
