Vigoroth 102/124 · Dragons Exalted

Vigoroth is Pokédex #288, generation 3 (Hoenn). Vigoroth is a Stage 1 Colorless Pokémon with 80 HP. The card says it evolves from Slakoth. In this catalog that name is Slakoth (#287). The card lists Slaking, Slaking (#289) under evolves to.

Vigoroth sits at 102/124 in Dragons Exalted, position 102 of 128. Before it is 101 Slakoth, and after it is 103 Slaking. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on 15 August 2012. The printed size is 124. This checklist is longer, at 128 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Ambush lists 20+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 40 more damage. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Its heart beats at a tenfold tempo, so it cannot sit still for even a moment."

The earliest other card is Vigoroth 47/109 in Ruby & Sapphire (2003). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and match illustrated this one. 8 other cards of Vigoroth list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads match. I count 143 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Dragons Exalted set binder is where a full Dragons Exalted set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Vigoroth can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
