Celebrations: Classic Collection
Gyarados is Pokédex #130, generation 1 (Kanto). Dark Gyarados is a Stage 1 Water Pokémon with 70 HP. The card lists level 31. The card says it evolves from Magikarp. In this catalog that name is Magikarp (#129).
Dark Gyarados sits at 8/25 in Celebrations: Classic Collection, position 3 of 22. Before it is 4 Charizard, and after it is 9 Team Magma's Groudon. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 8 October 2021. The printed size is 25. This checklist is longer, at 22 cards. The listed rarity is Classic Collection.
Final Beam is listed as Pokémon Power. When Dark Gyarados is Knocked Out by an attack, flip a coin. If heads, this power does 20 damage for each Water Energy attached to Dark Gyarados to the Pokémon that Knocked Out Dark Gyarados. Apply Weakness and Resistance. This power doesn't work if Dark Gyarados is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed. The attack Ice Beam lists 30 damage. The cost is Water, Water, Water. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Weakness is Grass ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Normally found only in the deep ocean, it has recently been seen in shallow waters as well."
Gyarados (#130) has 56 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 38 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Gyarados 6/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Gyarados, while this one is Dark Gyarados. That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Classic Collection. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Kagemaru Himeno illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 2. 54 other cards of Gyarados list a different HP.
The illustrator line reads Kagemaru Himeno. I count 656 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.
Celebrations: Classic Collection set binder is where a full Celebrations: Classic Collection set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Gyarados can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Team Rocket cards, Magikarp and Gyarados, and Giant Pokémon. I still need this card.
