Drapion 23/130 · Diamond & Pearl

Drapion is Pokédex #452, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Drapion is a Stage 1 Psychic Pokémon with 100 HP. The card lists level 41. The card says it evolves from Skorupi. In this catalog that name is Skorupi (#451).

Drapion sits at 23/130 in Diamond & Pearl, position 23 of 130. Before it is 22 Clefable, and after it is 24 Drifblim. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on 1 May 2007. The printed size is 130, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Stomp lists 20+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 20 damage plus 20 more damage. Poison Claws is another attack lists 50 damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Colorless. The Defending Pokémon is now Poisoned. Weakness is Psychic +20. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "It has the power in its clawed arms to make scrap of a car. The tips of its claws release poison."

Drapion (#452) has 18 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2008 to 2026. The earliest other card is Drapion 15/100 in Stormfront (2008). That card lists 110 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. Both list the rarity Rare. Kent Kanetsuna illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. 16 other cards of Drapion list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Diamond & Pearl set binder is where a full Diamond & Pearl set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Drapion can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
