Mewtwo LV.X 144/146 · Legends Awakened

Legends Awakened is a set in the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on 1 August 2008. The printed size is 146, and the checklist is the same length. Mewtwo LV.X is 144/146, in position 144 of 146 on this checklist. Before it is 143 Mesprit LV.X, and after it is 145 Rhyperior LV.X. The listed rarity is Rare Holo LV.X.

Mewtwo LV.X is a Level-Up Psychic Pokémon with 120 HP. The card lists level X. In the Pokédex this is Mewtwo (#150), generation 1 (Kanto). The card says it evolves from Mewtwo. In this catalog that name is Mewtwo (#150).

Shizurow illustrated this card. The same name is on 79 other cards in the catalog.

Mewtwo (#150) has 88 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 42 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Mewtwo 10/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Mewtwo, while this one is Mewtwo LV.X. That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Holo LV.X. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Shizurow illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 2. 80 other cards of Mewtwo list a different HP.

Psybarrier is listed as Poké-Body. Prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to Mewtwo by your opponent's Pokémon that isn't an Evolved Pokémon. The attack Giga Burn lists 120 damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Colorless. Discard all Energy attached to Mewtwo. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: Put this card onto your Active Mewtwo. Mewtwo LV.X can use any attack, Poké-Power, or Poké-Body from its previous level.

I keep a set binder for Legends Awakened, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Legends Awakened set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mewtwo can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Mew and Mewtwo and Pokémon LV.X. I still need this card.
