Sylveon-EX RC32/83 · Generations

Sylveon is Pokédex #700, generation 6 (Kalos). Sylveon-EX is a Basic EX Fairy Pokémon with 170 HP.

Sylveon-EX sits at RC32/83 in Generations, position 117 of 117. The card before it is RC31 M Gardevoir-EX. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on 22 February 2016. The printed size is 83. This checklist is longer, at 117 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Ultra.

The attack Dress Up lists 30+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. If this Pokémon has a Pokémon Tool card attached to it, this attack does 30 more damage. Precious Ribbon is another attack lists 100 damage. The cost is Fairy, Fairy, Colorless. Move a Fairy Energy from this Pokémon to 1 of your Benched Pokémon. If you do, heal 50 damage from that Pokémon. Weakness is Metal ×2. Resistance is Darkness -20. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: Pokémon-EX rule: When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Sylveon (#700) has 33 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2013 to 2026. The earliest other card is Sylveon XY04/211 in XY Black Star Promos (2013). That card is named Sylveon, while this one is Sylveon-EX. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 170 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Ultra. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Kanako Eo illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 32 other cards of Sylveon list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kanako Eo. I count 99 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Generations set binder is where a full Generations set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Sylveon can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). Themed lists that include this exact card are Eevee and the Eeveelutions. I still need this card.
