Entei & Raikou LEGEND 90/95 · HS—Unleashed

Raikou is Pokédex #243, generation 2 (Johto). The card also lists Entei (#244). Entei & Raikou LEGEND is a LEGEND Fire Lightning Pokémon with 140 HP.

Entei & Raikou LEGEND sits at 90/95 in HS—Unleashed, position 90 of 96. Before it is 89 Ursaring, and after it is 91 Entei & Raikou LEGEND. The set belongs to the HeartGold & SoulSilver series. It was released on 12 May 2010. The printed size is 95. This checklist is longer, at 96 cards. The listed rarity is LEGEND.

The attack Detonation Spin lists 90 damage. The cost is Fire, Colorless. Discard a Fire Energy attached to Entei & Raikou LEGEND. Thunder Fall is another attack lists no damage number. The cost is Lightning, Colorless. Discard all Energy attached to Entei & Raikou LEGEND. This attack does 80 damage to each Pokémon that has any Poké-Powers (both yours and your opponent's). This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness or Resistance. Weakness is Water ×2. The card text says: Put this card from your hand onto your Bench only with the other half of Entei & Raikou LEGEND. The card text says: When this Pokémon has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Raikou (#243) has 26 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 20 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2001 to 2026. The earliest other card is Raikou 13/64 in Neo Revelation (2001). That card is named Raikou, while this one is Entei & Raikou LEGEND. That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 140 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is LEGEND. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Shinji Higuchi + Sachiko Eba illustrated this one. 25 other cards of Raikou list a different HP. Entei (#244) has 35 cards in the catalog.

The illustrator line reads Shinji Higuchi + Sachiko Eba. I count 9 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

HS—Unleashed set binder is where a full HS—Unleashed set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Raikou and Entei can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Legendary beasts and Pokémon LEGEND. I still need this card.
