Entei & Raikou LEGEND 91/95 · HS—Unleashed

HS—Unleashed is a set in the HeartGold & SoulSilver series. It was released on 12 May 2010. The printed size is 95. This checklist is longer, at 96 cards. Entei & Raikou LEGEND is 91/95, in position 91 of 96 on this checklist. Before it is 90 Entei & Raikou LEGEND, and after it is 92 Raikou & Suicune LEGEND. The listed rarity is LEGEND.

Entei & Raikou LEGEND is a LEGEND Fire Lightning Pokémon with 140 HP. In the Pokédex this is Raikou (#243), generation 2 (Johto) and Entei (#244), generation 2 (Johto).

Shinji Higuchi + Sachiko Eba illustrated this card. The same name is on 9 other cards in the catalog.

Raikou (#243) has 26 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 20 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2001 to 2026. The earliest other card is Raikou 13/64 in Neo Revelation (2001). That card is named Raikou, while this one is Entei & Raikou LEGEND. That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 140 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is LEGEND. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Shinji Higuchi + Sachiko Eba illustrated this one. 25 other cards of Raikou list a different HP. Entei (#244) has 35 cards in the catalog.

The attack Detonation Spin lists 90 damage. The cost is Fire, Colorless. Discard a Fire Energy attached to Entei & Raikou LEGEND. Thunder Fall is another attack lists no damage number. The cost is Lightning, Colorless. Discard all Energy attached to Entei & Raikou LEGEND. This attack does 80 damage to each Pokémon that has any Poké-Powers (both yours and your opponent's). This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness or Resistance. Weakness is Water ×2 and Fighting ×2. The card text says: Put this card from your hand onto your Bench only with the other half of Entei & Raikou LEGEND. The card text says: When this Pokémon has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

I keep a set binder for HS—Unleashed, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the HS—Unleashed set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Raikou and Entei can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Legendary beasts and Pokémon LEGEND. I still need this card.
