Team Rocket's Mimikyu 97/217 · Ascended Heroes

Ascended Heroes is a set in the Mega Evolution series. It was released on 30 January 2026. The printed size is 217. This checklist is longer, at 295 cards. Team Rocket's Mimikyu is 97/217, in position 97 of 295 on this checklist. Before it is 96 Hop's Trevenant, and after it is 98 Spectrier. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Team Rocket's Mimikyu is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 60 HP. In the Pokédex this is Mimikyu (#778), generation 7 (Alola).

DOM illustrated this card. The same name is on 36 other cards in the catalog.

Mimikyu (#778) has 33 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2026. The earliest other card is Mimikyu SM29/248 in SM Black Star Promos (2017). That card is named Mimikyu, while this one is Team Rocket's Mimikyu. That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Uncommon. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and DOM illustrated this one. 31 other cards of Mimikyu list a different HP.

The attack Gemstone Mimicry lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. Choose 1 of your opponent's Active Tera Pokémon's attacks and use it as this attack. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. The flavor text reads "This Pokémon lives in dark places untouched by sunlight. When it appears before humans, it hides itself under a cloth that resembles a Pikachu." The regulation mark is I.

I keep a set binder for Ascended Heroes, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Ascended Heroes set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mimikyu can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). Themed lists that include this exact card are Trainer's Pokémon, Team Rocket cards, Halloween: Ghost Pokémon, All Mimikyu cards, and Tiny Pokémon. I still need this card.
