Giratina 10/127 · Platinum

Giratina is Pokédex #487, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Giratina is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 100 HP. The card lists level 63.

Giratina sits at 10/127 in Platinum, position 10 of 133. Before it is 9 Giratina, and after it is 11 Manectric. The set belongs to the Platinum series. It was released on 11 February 2009. The printed size is 127. This checklist is longer, at 133 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

The attack Over Slash lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. This attack does 10 damage to each of your opponent's Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon). Dark Wing Flaps is another attack lists 20 damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic. Choose 1 card from your opponent's hand without looking. Look at the card you chose, then have your opponent shuffle that card into his or her deck. Wrack Down is another attack lists 60 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. Giratina (#487) has 29 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 15 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2023. The earliest other card is Giratina LV.X DP38/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). That card is named Giratina LV.X, while this one is Giratina. That card lists 130 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. Shizurow illustrated that card, and Hajime Kusajima illustrated this one. 26 other cards of Giratina list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Hajime Kusajima. I count 206 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Platinum set binder is where a full Platinum set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Giratina can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. I still need this card.
