Seaking 43/147 · Supreme Victors

Seaking is Pokédex #119, generation 1 (Kanto). Seaking is a Stage 1 Water Pokémon with 90 HP. The card lists level 43. The card says it evolves from Goldeen. In this catalog that name is Goldeen (#118).

Seaking sits at 43/147 in Supreme Victors, position 43 of 153. Before it is 42 Sandslash, and after it is 44 Shedinja. The set belongs to the Platinum series. It was released on 19 August 2009. The printed size is 147. This checklist is longer, at 153 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Horn Pierce lists 90 damage. The cost is Colorless. Flip 2 coins. If either of them is tails, this attack does nothing. Endure is another attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Water. Flip a coin. If heads, during your opponent's next turn, if Seaking would be Knocked Out by damage from an attack, Seaking is not Knocked Out and its remaining HP becomes 10 instead. Weakness is Lightning +20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "In autumn, its body becomes more fatty in preparing to propose to a mate. It takes on beautiful colors."

Seaking (#119) has 15 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 15 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Seaking 46/64 in Jungle (1999). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 90 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Rare. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and Suwama Chiaki illustrated this one. 13 other cards of Seaking list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Suwama Chiaki. I count 102 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Supreme Victors set binder is where a full Supreme Victors set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Seaking can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
