Togedemaru 47/147 · Burning Shadows

Togedemaru is Pokédex #777, generation 7 (Alola). Togedemaru is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 80 HP.

Togedemaru sits at 47/147 in Burning Shadows, position 49 of 177. Before it is 46 Eelektross, and after it is 48 Slowking. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on 5 August 2017. The printed size is 147. This checklist is longer, at 177 cards. The listed rarity is Common.

The attack Rollout lists 20 damage. The cost is Lightning. Electrosmash is another attack lists 40+ damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 20 more damage. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Metal -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "The spiny fur on its back is normally at rest. When this Pokémon becomes agitated, its fur stands on end and stabs into its attackers."

Togedemaru (#777) has 13 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 10 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2026. The earliest other card is Togedemaru 53/149 in Sun & Moon (2017). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. Both list the rarity Common. Megumi Mizutani illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. 5 other cards of Togedemaru list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Burning Shadows set binder is where a full Burning Shadows set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Togedemaru can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). Themed lists that include this exact card are Pikachu's friends. I still need this card.
