Togedemaru is Pokédex #777, generation 7 (Alola). Togedemaru is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 70 HP.

Togedemaru sits at SM44/248 in SM Black Star Promos, position 45 of 251. Before it is SM43 Alolan Meowth, and after it is SM45 Tapu Lele. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on 3 February 2017. The printed size is 248. This checklist is longer, at 251 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Nuzzle lists no damage number. The cost is Lightning. Flip a coin. If heads, your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Rollout is another attack lists 50 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Metal -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "The spiny fur on its back is normally at rest. When this Pokémon becomes agitated, its fur stands on end and stabs into its attackers."

Togedemaru (#777) has 13 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 11 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2026. The earliest other card is Togedemaru 53/149 in Sun & Moon (2017). Both list 70 HP. The rarity there is Common, and here it is Promo. Megumi Mizutani illustrated that card, and Sanosuke Sakuma illustrated this one. 10 other cards of Togedemaru list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Sanosuke Sakuma. I count 158 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

SM Black Star Promos set binder is where a full SM Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Togedemaru can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). Themed lists that include this exact card are Pikachu's friends. I still need this card.
