Alolan Ninetales is a Stage 1 Fairy Pokémon with 110 HP. In the Pokédex this is Ninetales (#038), generation 1 (Kanto). The card says it evolves from Alolan Vulpix. In this catalog that name is Vulpix (#037).

kirisAki illustrated this card. The same name is on 189 other cards in the catalog.

Ninetales (#038) has 55 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 40 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Ninetales 12/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Ninetales, while this one is Alolan Ninetales. That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and kirisAki illustrated this one. 49 other cards of Ninetales list a different HP.

The attack Smash Kick lists 30 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Spiral Drain is another attack lists 80 damage. The cost is Fairy, Fairy, Colorless. Heal 30 damage from this Pokémon. Weakness is Metal ×2. Resistance is Darkness -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Possessing a calm demeanor, this Pokémon was revered as a deity incarnate before it was identified as a regional variant of Ninetales."

I keep a set binder for SM Black Star Promos, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the SM Black Star Promos set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Ninetales can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Alolan forms and Vulpix and Ninetales. I still need this card.
