Carracosta is Pokédex #565, generation 5 (Unova). Carracosta-GX is a Stage 2 GX Fighting Pokémon with 250 HP. The card says it evolves from Tirtouga. In this catalog that name is Tirtouga (#564).

Carracosta-GX sits at SM239/248 in SM Black Star Promos, position 242 of 251. Before it is SM238 Glaceon, and after it is SM240 Espeon & Deoxys-GX. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on 3 February 2017. The printed size is 248. This checklist is longer, at 251 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

High Density Armor is listed as Ability. If this Pokémon has full HP, it takes 90 less damage from your opponent's attacks (after applying Weakness and Resistance). The attack Ground Crush lists 160 damage. The cost is Fighting, Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. The Defending Pokémon can't retreat during your opponent's next turn. Stone Age-GX is another attack lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Put any number of Pokémon that evolve from Unidentified Fossil from your discard pile onto your Bench. (You can't use more than 1 GX attack in a game.) Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 4. The card text says: Pokémon-GX rule: When your Pokémon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Carracosta (#565) has 6 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 5 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Carracosta 26/101 in Noble Victories (2011). That card is named Carracosta, while this one is Carracosta-GX. That card lists 140 HP, and this one lists 250 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Promo. match illustrated that card, and PLANETA Tsuji illustrated this one. 6 other cards of Carracosta list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads PLANETA Tsuji. I count 81 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

SM Black Star Promos set binder is where a full SM Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Carracosta can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). Themed lists that include this exact card are Fossil Pokémon. I still need this card.
