Mudsdale 106/202 · Sword & Shield

Sword & Shield is a set in the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 7 February 2020. The printed size is 202. This checklist is longer, at 216 cards. Mudsdale is 106/202, in position 106 of 216 on this checklist. Before it is 105 Mudbray, and after it is 107 Silicobra. The listed rarity is Rare.

Mudsdale is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 150 HP. In the Pokédex this is Mudsdale (#750), generation 7 (Alola). The card says it evolves from Mudbray. In this catalog that name is Mudbray (#749).

Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this card. The same name is on 471 other cards in the catalog.

Mudsdale (#750) has 7 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 6 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2025. The earliest other card is Mudsdale SM20/248 in SM Black Star Promos (2017). That card lists 140 HP, and this one lists 150 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 4, and here it is 3. 4 other cards of Mudsdale list a different HP.

The attack Double Impact lists 120× damage. The cost is Fighting, Fighting, Fighting. Flip 2 coins. This attack does 120 damage for each heads. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "Mud that hardens around a Mudsdale's legs sets harder than stone. It's so hard that it allows this Pokémon to scrap a truck with a single kick." The regulation mark is D.

I keep a set binder for Sword & Shield, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Sword & Shield set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mudsdale can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
