Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR 208/189 · Astral Radiance

Palkia is Pokédex #484, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR is a VSTAR Water Pokémon with 280 HP. The card says it evolves from Origin Forme Palkia V. In this catalog that name is Palkia (#484).

Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR sits at 208/189 in Astral Radiance, position 208 of 216. Before it is 207 Zisu, and after it is 209 Hisuian Samurott VSTAR. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 27 May 2022. The printed size is 189. This checklist is longer, at 216 cards. The collector number is above the printed set size of 189. The listed rarity is Rare Secret.

Star Portal is listed as Ability. During your turn, you may attach up to 3 Water Energy cards from your discard pile to your Water Pokémon in any way you like. (You can't use more than 1 VSTAR Power in a game.) The attack Subspace Swell lists 60+ damage. The cost is Water, Water. This attack does 20 more damage for each Benched Pokémon (both yours and your opponent's). Weakness is Lightning ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: VSTAR rule: When your Pokémon VSTAR is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is F.

Palkia (#484) has 39 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 21 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Palkia 11/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card is named Palkia, while this one is Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 280 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Secret. Nakaoka illustrated that card, and aky CG Works illustrated this one. 31 other cards of Palkia list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads aky CG Works. I count 163 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Astral Radiance set binder is where a full Astral Radiance set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Palkia can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. I still need this card.
