Arctozolt SV046/122 · Shining Fates Shiny Vault

Arctozolt is Pokédex #881, generation 8 (Galar). Arctozolt is a Stage 1 Lightning Pokémon with 130 HP. The card says it evolves from Rare Fossil.

Arctozolt sits at SV046/122 in Shining Fates Shiny Vault, position 46 of 122. Before it is SV045 Dracozolt, and after it is SV047 Galarian Ponyta. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on 19 February 2021. The printed size is 122, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Shiny.

Biting Whirlpool is listed as Ability. Whenever your opponent attaches an Energy card from their hand to 1 of their Pokémon, put 2 damage counters on that Pokémon. The attack Electro Ball lists 70 damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "The shaking of its freezing upper half is what generates its electricity. It has a hard time walking around." The regulation mark is D.

Arctozolt (#881) has 2 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 2 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2020. The earliest other card is Arctozolt SWSH036/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). Both list 130 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Shiny. Hasuno illustrated that card, and nagimiso illustrated this one.

The illustrator line reads nagimiso. I count 156 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Shining Fates Shiny Vault set binder is where a full Shining Fates Shiny Vault set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Arctozolt can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). Themed lists that include this exact card are Fossil Pokémon. I still need this card.
