Yveltal BREAK 66/114 · Steam Siege

Steam Siege is a set in the XY series. It was released on 3 August 2016. The printed size is 114. This checklist is longer, at 116 cards. Yveltal BREAK is 66/114, in position 66 of 116 on this checklist. Before it is 65 Yveltal, and after it is 67 Steelix-EX. The listed rarity is Rare BREAK.

Yveltal BREAK is a BREAK Darkness Pokémon with 150 HP. In the Pokédex this is Yveltal (#717), generation 6 (Kalos). The card says it evolves from Yveltal. In this catalog that name is Yveltal (#717).

5ban Graphics illustrated this card. The same name is on 1,629 other cards in the catalog.

Yveltal (#717) has 27 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2013 to 2026. The earliest other card is Yveltal XY06/211 in XY Black Star Promos (2013). That card is named Yveltal, while this one is Yveltal BREAK. That card lists 130 HP, and this one lists 150 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare BREAK. 27 other cards of Yveltal list a different HP.

The attack Baleful Night lists 120 damage. The cost is Darkness, Darkness, Darkness. This attack does 30 damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokémon that has any damage counters on it. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) The card text says: BREAK Evolution Rule: Yveltal BREAK retains the attacks, Abilities, Weakness, Resistance, and Retreat Cost of its previous Evolution.

I keep a set binder for Steam Siege, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Steam Siege set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Yveltal can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). Themed lists that include this exact card are BREAK Evolution. I still need this card.
