Yveltal-EX XY150/211 · XY Black Star Promos

Yveltal is Pokédex #717, generation 6 (Kalos). Yveltal-EX is a Basic EX Darkness Pokémon with 170 HP.

Yveltal-EX sits at XY150/211 in XY Black Star Promos, position 151 of 216. Before it is XY149 Xerneas-EX, and after it is XY150a Yveltal-EX. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on 12 October 2013. The printed size is 211. This checklist is longer, at 216 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Evil Ball lists 20+ damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless. This attack does 20 more damage times the amount of Energy attached to both Active Pokémon. Y Cyclone is another attack lists 90 damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless, Colorless. Move an Energy from this Pokémon to 1 of your Benched Pokémon. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: Pokémon-EX rule: When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Yveltal (#717) has 27 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2013 to 2026. The earliest other card is Yveltal XY06/211 in XY Black Star Promos (2013). That card is named Yveltal, while this one is Yveltal-EX. That card lists 130 HP, and this one lists 170 HP. Both list the rarity Promo. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Eske Yoshinob illustrated this one. 23 other cards of Yveltal list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Eske Yoshinob. I count 177 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

XY Black Star Promos set binder is where a full XY Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Yveltal can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). I still need this card.
