Yanmega 7/114 · Steam Siege

Yanmega is Pokédex #469, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Yanmega is a Stage 1 Grass Pokémon with 110 HP. The card says it evolves from Yanma. In this catalog that name is Yanma (#193).

Yanmega sits at 7/114 in Steam Siege, position 7 of 116. Before it is 6 Yanma, and after it is 8 Yanmega BREAK. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on 3 August 2016. The printed size is 114. This checklist is longer, at 116 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

Sonic Vision is listed as Ability. If you have exactly 4 cards in your hand, ignore all Energy in the attack cost of each of this Pokémon's attacks. The attack Assault Boom lists 50+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. If your opponent's Active Pokémon has a Pokémon Tool card attached to it, this attack does 70 more damage. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. The flavor text reads "This six-legged Pokémon is easily capable of transporting an adult in flight. The wings on its tail help it stay balanced."

Yanmega (#469) has 19 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2008 to 2025. The earliest other card is Yanmega 17/146 in Legends Awakened (2008). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Kent Kanetsuna illustrated that card, and Midori Harada illustrated this one. 16 other cards of Yanmega list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Midori Harada. I count 352 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Steam Siege set binder is where a full Steam Siege set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Yanmega can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
