Leafeon 7/111 · Furious Fists

Furious Fists is a set in the XY series. It was released on 13 August 2014. The printed size is 111. This checklist is longer, at 114 cards. Leafeon is 7/111, in position 7 of 114 on this checklist. Before it is 6 Shroomish, and after it is 8 Shelmet. The listed rarity is Rare.

Leafeon is a Stage 1 Grass Pokémon with 90 HP. In the Pokédex this is Leafeon (#470), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Eevee. In this catalog that name is Eevee (#133).

Naoyo Kimura illustrated this card. The same name is on 256 other cards in the catalog.

Leafeon (#470) has 33 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2008 to 2025. The earliest other card is Leafeon 7/100 in Majestic Dawn (2008). Both list 90 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and Naoyo Kimura illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 26 other cards of Leafeon list a different HP.

The attack Soothing Scent lists 30 damage. The cost is Grass. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Asleep. Magical Leaf is another attack lists 50+ damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 30 more damage and heal 30 damage from this Pokémon. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "When you see Leafeon asleep in a patch of sunshine, you'll know it is using photosynthesis to produce clean air."

I keep a set binder for Furious Fists, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Furious Fists set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Leafeon can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Eevee and the Eeveelutions. I still need this card.
