Bronzong 61/119 · Phantom Forces

Bronzong is Pokédex #437, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Bronzong is a Stage 1 Metal Pokémon with 90 HP. The card says it evolves from Bronzor. In this catalog that name is Bronzor (#436).

Bronzong sits at 61/119 in Phantom Forces, position 62 of 124. Before it is 60 Bronzor, and after it is 62 Dialga-EX. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on 5 November 2014. The printed size is 119. This checklist is longer, at 124 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

Metal Links is listed as Ability. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may attach a Metal Energy card from your discard pile to 1 of your Benched Pokémon. The attack Hammer In lists 60 damage. The cost is Metal, Metal, Colorless. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Psychic -20. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "In ages past, this Pokémon was revered as a bringer of rain. It was found buried in the ground."

Bronzong (#437) has 28 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 26 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Bronzong 6/123 in Mysterious Treasures (2007). Both list 90 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Daisuke Ito illustrated that card, and match illustrated this one. 19 other cards of Bronzong list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads match. I count 143 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Phantom Forces set binder is where a full Phantom Forces set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Bronzong can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
