Kyurem is Pokédex #646, generation 5 (Unova). Black Kyurem is a Basic Dragon Pokémon with 120 HP.

Black Kyurem sits at XY80/211 in XY Black Star Promos, position 81 of 216. Before it is XY79 Latios, and after it is XY81 White Kyurem. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on 12 October 2013. The printed size is 211. This checklist is longer, at 216 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Thunder Nail lists 40 damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Frozen Slice is another attack lists 120 damage. The cost is Water, Lightning, Lightning, Colorless. This Pokémon does 20 damage to itself. Weakness is Fairy ×2. Retreat cost is 3. Kyurem (#646) has 49 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 22 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Kyurem-EX BW37/101 in BW Black Star Promos (2011). That card is named Kyurem-EX, while this one is Black Kyurem. That card lists 180 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. Both list the rarity Promo. Shizurow illustrated that card, and Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated this one. 47 other cards of Kyurem list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Mitsuhiro Arita. I count 721 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

XY Black Star Promos set binder is where a full XY Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Kyurem can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). Themed lists that include this exact card are Mitsuhiro Arita cards. I still need this card.
