Regigigas XY82/211 · XY Black Star Promos

Regigigas is Pokédex #486, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Regigigas is a Basic Colorless Pokémon with 130 HP.

Regigigas sits at XY82/211 in XY Black Star Promos, position 83 of 216. Before it is XY81 White Kyurem, and after it is XY83 Arceus. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on 12 October 2013. The printed size is 211. This checklist is longer, at 216 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

Earthen Awakening is listed as Ability. Whenever you attach an Energy card from your hand to this Pokémon, heal 20 damage from it. The attack Gigas Punch lists 100 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Flip 2 coins. If both of them are tails, this attack does nothing. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 4. The flavor text reads "There is an enduring legend that states this Pokémon towed continents with ropes."

Regigigas (#486) has 20 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2025. The earliest other card is Regigigas LV.X DP30/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). That card is named Regigigas LV.X, while this one is Regigigas. That card lists 150 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. Both list the rarity Promo. Shizurow illustrated that card, and Shin Nagasawa illustrated this one. 19 other cards of Regigigas list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Shin Nagasawa. I count 303 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

XY Black Star Promos set binder is where a full XY Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Regigigas can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
