Musharna 49/114 · Black & White

Black & White is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on April 25, 2011. The printed size is 114. This checklist is longer, at 115 cards. Musharna is 49/114, in position 49 of 115 on this checklist. Before it is 48 Munna, and after it is 50 Woobat. The listed rarity is Rare.

Musharna is a Stage 1 Psychic Pokémon with 90 HP. In the Pokédex this is Musharna (#518), generation 5 (Unova). The card says it evolves from Munna. In this catalog that name is Munna (#517).

Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this card. The same name is on 471 other cards in the catalog.

Musharna (#518) has 9 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2012 to 2025. The earliest other card is Musharna 59/99 in Next Destinies (2012). That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 90 HP. Both list the rarity Rare. Maiko Fujiwara illustrated that card, and Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 2. 8 other cards of Musharna list a different HP.

The attack Hypnotic Ray lists 20 damage. The cost is Psychic. The Defending Pokémon is now Asleep. Dream Eater is another attack lists 90 damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic. If the Defending Pokémon is not Asleep, this attack does nothing. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "The mist emanating from their foreheads is packed with the dreams of people and Pokémon."

I keep a set binder for Black & White, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Black & White set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Musharna can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
