Musharna 40/101 · Plasma Blast

Musharna is Pokédex #518, generation 5 (Unova). Musharna is a Stage 1 Psychic Pokémon with 100 HP. The card says it evolves from Munna. In this catalog that name is Munna (#517).

Musharna sits at 40/101 in Plasma Blast, position 40 of 105. Before it is 39 Munna, and after it is 41 Sigilyph. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on August 14, 2013. The printed size is 101. This checklist is longer, at 105 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Precognitive Dream lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic. Draw 3 cards. This Pokémon is now Asleep. Psybeam is another attack lists 60 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. The Defending Pokémon is now Confused. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "The dream mist coming from its forehead changes into many different colors depending on the dream that was eaten."

Musharna (#518) has 9 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Musharna 49/114 in Black & White (2011). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Uncommon. Masakazu Fukuda illustrated that card, and Kagemaru Himeno illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 3. 6 other cards of Musharna list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kagemaru Himeno. I count 656 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Plasma Blast set binder is where a full Plasma Blast set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Musharna can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
