Musharna 59/99 · Next Destinies

Next Destinies is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on February 8, 2012. The printed size is 99. This checklist is longer, at 103 cards. Musharna is 59/99, in position 59 of 103 on this checklist. Before it is 58 Munna, and after it is 60 Darmanitan. The listed rarity is Rare.

Musharna is a Stage 1 Psychic Pokémon with 100 HP. In the Pokédex this is Musharna (#518), generation 5 (Unova). The card says it evolves from Munna. In this catalog that name is Munna (#517).

Maiko Fujiwara illustrated this card. The same name is on 2 other cards in the catalog.

Musharna (#518) has 9 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Musharna 49/114 in Black & White (2011). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. Both list the rarity Rare. Masakazu Fukuda illustrated that card, and Maiko Fujiwara illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 3. 6 other cards of Musharna list a different HP.

Forewarn is listed as Ability. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may look at the top 2 cards of your deck, choose 1 of them, and put it into your hand. Put the other card back on top of your deck. The attack Fluffy Dream lists 40 damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic. This Pokémon is now Asleep. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "With the mist from its forehead, it can create shapes of things from dreams it has eaten."

I keep a set binder for Next Destinies, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Next Destinies set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Musharna can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
