Chandelure 20/99 · Next Destinies

Next Destinies is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on February 8, 2012. The printed size is 99. This checklist is longer, at 103 cards. Chandelure is 20/99, in position 20 of 103 on this checklist. Before it is 19 Lampent, and after it is 21 Reshiram. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Chandelure is a Stage 2 Fire Pokémon with 120 HP. In the Pokédex this is Chandelure (#609), generation 5 (Unova). The card says it evolves from Lampent. In this catalog that name is Lampent (#608).

5ban Graphics illustrated this card. The same name is on 1,629 other cards in the catalog.

Chandelure (#609) has 25 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Chandelure 60/101 in Noble Victories (2011). That card lists 130 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Rare Holo. Naoyo Kimura illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 25 other cards of Chandelure list a different HP.

The attack Flame Burst lists 30 damage. The cost is Fire. Does 30 damage to 2 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Inferno is another attack lists 80 damage. The cost is Fire, Colorless. Discard all Energy attached to this Pokémon. The Defending Pokémon is now Burned. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Being consumed in Chandelure's flame burns up the spirit, leaving the body behind."

I keep a set binder for Next Destinies, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Next Destinies set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Chandelure can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
