Lucario 64/99 · Next Destinies

Next Destinies is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on February 8, 2012. The printed size is 99. This checklist is longer, at 103 cards. Lucario is 64/99, in position 64 of 103 on this checklist. Before it is 63 Riolu, and after it is 65 Hippopotas. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Lucario is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 100 HP. In the Pokédex this is Lucario (#448), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Riolu. In this catalog that name is Riolu (#447).

Naoki Saito illustrated this card. The same name is on 270 other cards in the catalog.

Lucario (#448) has 59 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 39 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Lucario 6/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Naoki Saito illustrated this one. 55 other cards of Lucario list a different HP.

Reflexive Retaliation is listed as Ability. If this Pokémon is your Active Pokémon and is damaged by an opponent's attack (even if this Pokémon is Knocked Out), put 2 damage counters on the Attacking Pokémon. The attack Aura Sphere lists 50 damage. The cost is Fighting, Fighting. Does 20 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "A well-trained one can sense auras to identify and take in the feelings of creatures over half a mile away."

I keep a set binder for Next Destinies, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Next Destinies set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Lucario can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
