Mew-EX 120/124 · Dragons Exalted

Mew is Pokédex #151, generation 1 (Kanto). Mew-EX is a Basic EX Psychic Pokémon with 120 HP.

Mew-EX sits at 120/124 in Dragons Exalted, position 120 of 128. Before it is 119 Ho-Oh-EX, and after it is 121 Terrakion-EX. The set belongs to the Black & White series. It was released on August 15, 2012. The printed size is 124. This checklist is longer, at 128 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Ultra.

Versatile is listed as Ability. This Pokémon can use the attacks of any Pokémon in play (both yours and your opponent's). (You still need the necessary Energy to use each attack.) The attack Replace lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic. Move as many Energy attached to your Pokémon to your other Pokémon in any way you like. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: Pokémon-EX rule: When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Mew (#151) has 60 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 35 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Mew 8/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). That card is named Mew, while this one is Mew-EX. That card lists 50 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Ultra. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 57 other cards of Mew list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Dragons Exalted set binder is where a full Dragons Exalted set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mew can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Mew and Mewtwo. I still need this card.
