Skuntank 77/124 · Dragons Exalted

Dragons Exalted is a set in the Black & White series. It was released on August 15, 2012. The printed size is 124. This checklist is longer, at 128 cards. Skuntank is 77/124, in position 77 of 128 on this checklist. Before it is 76 Stunky, and after it is 78 Aron. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Skuntank is a Stage 1 Darkness Pokémon with 90 HP. In the Pokédex this is Skuntank (#435), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Stunky. In this catalog that name is Stunky (#434).

Midori Harada illustrated this card. The same name is on 352 other cards in the catalog.

Skuntank (#435) has 12 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 10 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Skuntank 15/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). Both list 90 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Hiroaki Ito illustrated that card, and Midori Harada illustrated this one. 10 other cards of Skuntank list a different HP.

The attack Smogscreen lists 20 damage. The cost is Darkness. The Defending Pokémon is now Poisoned. If the Defending Pokémon tries to attack during your opponent's next turn, your opponent flips a coin. If tails, that attack does nothing. Hammer In is another attack lists 80 damage. The cost is Darkness, Darkness, Colorless. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Psychic -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It attacks by spraying a horribly smelly fluid from the tip of its tail. Attacks from above confound it."

I keep a set binder for Dragons Exalted, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Dragons Exalted set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Skuntank can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
