Mew 25/25 · Celebrations

Mew is Pokédex #151, generation 1 (Kanto). Mew is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 60 HP.

Mew sits at 25/25 in Celebrations, position 25 of 25. The card before it is 24 Professor's Research (Professor Oak). The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on October 8, 2021. The printed size is 25, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Mysterious Tail is listed as Ability. Once during your turn, if this Pokémon is in the Active Spot, you may look at the top 6 cards of your deck, reveal an Item card you find there, and put it into your hand. Shuffle the other cards back into your deck. The attack Psyshot lists 30 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Its DNA is said to contain the genetic codes of all Pokémon, so it can use all kinds of techniques." The regulation mark is E.

Mew (#151) has 60 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 35 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Mew 8/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). That card lists 50 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Saki Hayashiro illustrated this one. 47 other cards of Mew list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Saki Hayashiro. I count 40 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Celebrations set binder is where a full Celebrations set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mew can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
