Azelf 4/123 · Mysterious Treasures

Azelf is Pokédex #482, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Azelf is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 60 HP. The card lists level 50.

Azelf sits at 4/123 in Mysterious Treasures, position 4 of 124. Before it is 3 Ambipom, and after it is 5 Blissey. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on August 1, 2007. The printed size is 123. This checklist is longer, at 124 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Downer Material is listed as Poké-Body. If you have Uxie and Mesprit in play, the attack cost of each of your opponent's Basic Pokémon's attacks is Colorless more. You can't use more than 1 Downer Material Poké-Body each turn. The attack Bind Pulse lists 10 damage. The cost is Psychic. During your opponent's next turn, your opponent can't attach any Special Energy cards from his or her hand to any of his or her Pokémon. Weakness is Psychic +20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Known as "The Being of Willpower." It sleeps at the bottom of a lake to keep the world in balance."

Azelf (#482) has 8 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2008 to 2024. The earliest other card is Azelf 19/146 in Legends Awakened (2008). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Rare Holo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Ryo Ueda illustrated this one. 6 other cards of Azelf list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Ryo Ueda. I count 462 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Mysterious Treasures set binder is where a full Mysterious Treasures set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Azelf can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
