Bibarel 32/100 · Stormfront

Bibarel is Pokédex #400, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Bibarel is a Stage 1 Water Pokémon with 100 HP. The card lists level 29. The card says it evolves from Bidoof. In this catalog that name is Bidoof (#399).

Bibarel sits at 32/100 in Stormfront, position 32 of 106. Before it is 31 Vespiquen, and after it is 33 Budew. The set belongs to the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on November 1, 2008. The printed size is 100. This checklist is longer, at 106 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Unaware is listed as Poké-Body. Prevent all effects of attacks, excluding damage, done to Bibarel. The attack Amnesia lists 20 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Choose 1 of the Defending Pokémon's attacks. That Pokémon can't use that attack during your opponent's next turn. Surf is another attack lists 60 damage. The cost is Water, Water. Weakness is Fighting +30. Retreat cost is 3.

Bibarel (#400) has 11 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 11 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2023. The earliest other card is Bibarel 20/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). Both list 100 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Uncommon. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 3. 8 other cards of Bibarel list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Stormfront set binder is where a full Stormfront set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Bibarel can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
