DP Black Star Promos is a set in the Diamond & Pearl series. It was released on May 1, 2007. The printed size is 56, and the checklist is the same length. Regigigas LV.X is DP30/56, in position 30 of 56 on this checklist. Before it is DP29 Rhyperior LV.X, and after it is DP31 Heatran LV.X. The listed rarity is Promo.
Regigigas LV.X is a Level-Up Colorless Pokémon with 150 HP. The card lists level X. In the Pokédex this is Regigigas (#486), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Regigigas. In this catalog that name is Regigigas (#486).
Shizurow illustrated this card. The same name is on 79 other cards in the catalog.
Regigigas (#486) has 20 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 15 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2025. The earliest other card is Regigigas DP40/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). That card is named Regigigas, while this one is Regigigas LV.X. That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 150 HP. Both list the rarity Promo. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and Shizurow illustrated this one. 16 other cards of Regigigas list a different HP.
Sacrifice is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may choose 1 of your Pokémon in play and that Pokémon is Knocked Out. Then, search your discard pile for up to 2 basic Energy cards, attach them to Regigigas, and remove 8 damage counters from Regigigas. This power can't be used if Regigigas is affected by a Special Condition. The attack Giga Blaster lists 100 damage. The cost is Water, Fighting, Metal, Colorless. Discard the top card from your opponent's deck. Then, choose 1 card from your opponent's hand without looking and discard it. Regigigas can't use Giga Blaster during your next turn. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 4. The card text says: Put this card onto your Active Regigigas. Regigigas LV.X can use any attack, Poké-Power, or Poké-Body from its previous level.
I keep a set binder for DP Black Star Promos, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the DP Black Star Promos set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Regigigas can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Pokémon LV.X. I still need this card.
