Slaking 13/108 · Power Keepers

Slaking is Pokédex #289, generation 3 (Hoenn). Slaking is a Stage 2 Colorless Pokémon with 120 HP. The card says it evolves from Vigoroth. In this catalog that name is Vigoroth (#288).

Slaking sits at 13/108 in Power Keepers, position 13 of 108. Before it is 12 Raichu, and after it is 14 Dusclops. The set belongs to the EX series. It was released on February 2, 2007. The printed size is 108, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Lazy is listed as Poké-Body. As long as Slaking is your Active Pokémon, your opponent's Pokémon can't use any Poké-Powers. The attack Critical Move lists 100 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Discard a basic Energy card attached to Slaking or this attack does nothing. Slaking can't attack during your next turn. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 3.

Slaking (#289) has 15 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2024. The earliest other card is Slaking 12/109 in Ruby & Sapphire (2003). Both list 120 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Midori Harada illustrated this one. 13 other cards of Slaking list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Midori Harada. I count 352 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Power Keepers set binder is where a full Power Keepers set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Slaking can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
