Wigglytuff ex 101/101 · Hidden Legends

Wigglytuff is Pokédex #040, generation 1 (Kanto). Wigglytuff ex is a Stage 1 ex Colorless Pokémon with 100 HP. The card says it evolves from Jigglypuff. In this catalog that name is Jigglypuff (#039).

Wigglytuff ex sits at 101/101 in Hidden Legends, position 101 of 102. Before it is 100 Vileplume ex, and after it is 102 Groudon. The set belongs to the EX series. It was released on June 1, 2004. The printed size is 101. This checklist is longer, at 102 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo EX.

The attack Sleepy Song lists 30 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Each Defending Pokémon is now Asleep. Do the Wave is another attack lists 30+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Does 30 damage plus 10 more damage for each of your Benched Pokémon. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: When Pokémon-ex has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Wigglytuff (#040) has 27 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 21 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Wigglytuff 16/64 in Jungle (1999). That card is named Wigglytuff, while this one is Wigglytuff ex. That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Holo EX. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Ryo Ueda illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 24 other cards of Wigglytuff list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Ryo Ueda. I count 462 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Hidden Legends set binder is where a full Hidden Legends set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Wigglytuff can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
