Meowstic-EX 37/83 · Generations

Meowstic is Pokédex #678, generation 6 (Kalos). Meowstic-EX is a Basic EX Psychic Pokémon with 160 HP.

Meowstic-EX sits at 37/83 in Generations, position 38 of 117. Before it is 36 Jynx, and after it is 38 Diglett. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on February 22, 2016. The printed size is 83. This checklist is longer, at 117 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo EX.

Shadow Ear is listed as Ability. Once during your turn (before your attack), if this Pokémon is your Active Pokémon, you may move 1 damage counter from 1 of your Pokémon to 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. The attack Mind Shock lists 60 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness or Resistance. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: Pokémon-EX rule: When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Meowstic (#678) has 12 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 12 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2013 to 2026. The earliest other card is Meowstic XY48/211 in XY Black Star Promos (2013). That card is named Meowstic, while this one is Meowstic-EX. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 160 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo EX. kirisAki illustrated that card, and Toyste Beach illustrated this one. 12 other cards of Meowstic list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Toyste Beach. I count 284 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Generations set binder is where a full Generations set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Meowstic can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). I still need this card.
