Mismagius 19/90 · HS—Undaunted

Mismagius is Pokédex #429, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Mismagius is a Stage 1 Psychic Pokémon with 80 HP. The card says it evolves from Misdreavus. In this catalog that name is Misdreavus (#200).

Mismagius sits at 19/90 in HS—Undaunted, position 19 of 91. Before it is 18 Metagross, and after it is 20 Rotom. The set belongs to the HeartGold & SoulSilver series. It was released on August 18, 2010. The printed size is 90. This checklist is longer, at 91 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Sleeping Spell lists 30 damage. The cost is Psychic. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Asleep. Poltergeist is another attack lists 30× damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. Look at your opponent's hand. This attack does 30 damage times the number of Trainer, Supporter, and Stadium cards in your opponent's hand.] Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Colorless -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Its cries sound like incantations to torment the foe. It appears where you least expect it."

Mismagius (#429) has 20 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Mismagius 10/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Mikiko Takeda illustrated that card, and Suwama Chiaki illustrated this one. 17 other cards of Mismagius list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Suwama Chiaki. I count 102 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

HS—Undaunted set binder is where a full HS—Undaunted set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mismagius can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
