Mismagius GL 10/111 · Rising Rivals

Rising Rivals is a set in the Platinum series. It was released on May 16, 2009. The printed size is 111. This checklist is longer, at 120 cards. Mismagius GL is 10/111, in position 10 of 120 on this checklist. Before it is 9 Luxray GL, and after it is 11 Rampardos GL. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Mismagius GL is a Basic SP Psychic Pokémon with 80 HP. The card lists level 26. In the Pokédex this is Mismagius (#429), generation 4 (Sinnoh).

Naoyo Kimura illustrated this card. The same name is on 256 other cards in the catalog.

Mismagius (#429) has 20 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Mismagius 10/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card is named Mismagius, while this one is Mismagius GL. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Mikiko Takeda illustrated that card, and Naoyo Kimura illustrated this one. 17 other cards of Mismagius list a different HP.

The attack Psychic Removal lists 10 damage. The cost is Psychic. Flip 2 coins. If both of them are heads, discard all Energy attached to the Defending Pokémon. Grudge is another attack lists 20+ damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. Does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each Prize card your opponent has taken. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Colorless -20. Retreat cost is 1.

I keep a set binder for Rising Rivals, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Rising Rivals set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mismagius can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
