Cinderace 28/132 · Mega Evolution

Mega Evolution is a set in the Mega Evolution series. It was released on September 26, 2025. The printed size is 132. This checklist is longer, at 188 cards. Cinderace is 28/132, in position 28 of 188 on this checklist. Before it is 27 Raboot, and after it is 29 Sizzlipede. The listed rarity is Rare.

Cinderace is a Stage 2 Fire Pokémon with 160 HP. In the Pokédex this is Cinderace (#815), generation 8 (Galar). The card says it evolves from Raboot. In this catalog that name is Raboot (#814).

Cinderace (#815) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 10 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2026. The earliest other card is Cinderace V SWSH015/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). That card is named Cinderace V, while this one is Cinderace. That card lists 210 HP, and this one lists 160 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. The regulation mark there is D, and here it is I. 21 other cards of Cinderace list a different HP.

Explosiveness is listed as Ability. If this Pokémon is in your hand when you are setting up to play, you may put it face down in the Active Spot. The attack Turbo Flare lists 50 damage. The cost is Colorless. Search your deck for up to 3 Basic Energy cards and attach them to your Benched Pokémon in any way you like. Then, shuffle your deck. Weakness is Water ×2. The regulation mark is I.

I keep a set binder for Mega Evolution, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Mega Evolution set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Cinderace can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). I still need this card.
