Totodile 41/217 · Ascended Heroes

Totodile is Pokédex #158, generation 2 (Johto). Totodile is a Basic Water Pokémon with 80 HP.

Totodile sits at 41/217 in Ascended Heroes, position 41 of 295. Before it is 40 Golduck, and after it is 42 Croconaw. The set belongs to the Mega Evolution series. It was released on January 30, 2026. The printed size is 217. This checklist is longer, at 295 cards. The listed rarity is Common.

The attack Slight Intrusion lists 40 damage. The cost is Water, Water. This Pokémon also does 10 damage to itself. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It is small but rough and tough. It won't hesitate to take a bite out of anything that moves." The regulation mark is J.

Totodile (#158) has 18 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2000 to 2024. The earliest other card is Totodile 80/111 in Neo Genesis (2000). That card lists 40 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. Both list the rarity Common. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and REND illustrated this one. 18 other cards of Totodile list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads REND. I count 13 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Ascended Heroes set binder is where a full Ascended Heroes set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Totodile can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Johto starters. I still need this card.
