Unown [P] 58/105 · Neo Destiny

Neo Destiny is a set in the Neo series. It was released on February 28, 2002. The printed size is 105. This checklist is longer, at 113 cards. Unown [P] is 58/105, in position 58 of 113 on this checklist. Before it is 57 Unown [C], and after it is 59 Unown [Q]. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Unown [P] is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 40 HP. The card lists level 13. In the Pokédex this is Unown (#201), generation 2 (Johto).

CR CG gangs illustrated this card. The same name is on 26 other cards in the catalog.

Unown (#201) has 95 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Unown [J] 38/53 in Wizards Black Star Promos (1999). That card is named Unown [J], while this one is Unown [P]. Both list 40 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Uncommon. Hideki Kazama illustrated that card, and CR CG gangs illustrated this one. 74 other cards of Unown list a different HP.

[Perform] is listed as Pokémon Power. If an attack damaged Unown [P] during your opponent's last turn and Unown [P] was your Active Pokémon, Unown [P]'s Hidden Power attack does that much more damage to the Defending Pokémon. This power can be used even if Unown [P] is Confused. The attack Hidden Power lists 10 damage. The cost is Psychic. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: You may have up to 4 Basic Pokémon cards in your deck with Unown in their names. The flavor text reads "It is believed that the variety of types of this Pokémon were created by evolutionary adaptation, as each possesses a different ability."

I keep a set binder for Neo Destiny, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Neo Destiny set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Unown can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Unown. I still need this card.
